In 2017, we had an incredibly positive response to the PC-DMIS sessions in the Manufacturing Intelligence track at HxGN LIVE, our international user conference. One attendee noted that the PC-DMIS User Group was super interesting and very useful. There were a lot of good tips and tricks, and the presenters were great. Wish there were more like this. Well, customers asked, and we’re answering with a 2018 PC-DMIS User Group that goes even more in-depth than ever before.
HxGN LIVE 2018 takes place 12-15 June at The Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, and we’re already developing the PC-DMIS User Group scheduleto help you get more from your software. The 2018 sessions will feature free form and high-accuracy workshops to help you utilize the best measurement strategies in PC-DMIS. Data management workshops with HxGN SMART Quality and Teamcenter integration will help you track everything from system utilization to environmental control, as well as production revision level and measurement results. We’ll have sessions on new software features and workflow training with custom reporting and applied Statistical Process Control (SPC) workshops to help you deliver the most relevant and actionable information to the right people, at the right time. There will also be workshops focused on point cloud data management and laser scanning strategies, as well as shop-floor inspection integration with recently released INSPECT software.
During the Tuesday training session, we will provide an Introduction to metrology for those that are new to the industry or would like to understand how applied metrology will help manufacturing efficiency and quality control. In addition, attendees will also benefit from an Introduction to Product and Manufacturing Information, otherwise known as PMI or Embedded GD&T. The training session will dive deep into the new measurement strategy workflows for PC-DMIS 2018 R1, with a special sneak peek at some of the new features for PC-DMIS 2018 R2 that you won’t find anywhere else. We’ll also delve into how you can get the most from INSPECT, Slideshow, and Notification Center.
