How long have you been with the company and how did you get into this line of work?
I have been with Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence for about four years. I first heard about Hexagon from Recheal Desautel who works inCustomer Relations. I had just graduated college and I thought a position in the Customer Relations Group would be a great fit for me, and it was!
What does your day look like at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence?
Most of my time is spent on the road visiting prospective customers and training. With my recent role change from a CRG Representative to a Sales Engineer for the ROMER Absolute Arm product line, I am constantly learning new things about the product and how to help our customers. I am looking forward to getting to know the customers in my new territory and how we can work together.
What is the most challenging aspect of your role here at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence?
Previously, in the Customer Relations Group, I had sold Software Maintenance Agreements and Hardware Maintenance Agreements. This helped me become familiar with PC-DMIS and our products, but I was not working with them hands on. The most challenging part of my new position is learning how to operate the ROMER Absolute Arm and the numerous software solutions we offer. However, I do have a great support system of people who have been there to help me withmy training! I am currently training on PC-DMIS.
What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I am deathly afraid of bugs and reptiles. I guess I really didn’t think that through before moving to Florida. But I am hoping that more exposure will help me conquer my fears!
What do you like to do for fun outside of the office?
I love to spend my time outdoors, whether it be just going for a walk or kayaking. I try to spend as much time outside as possible.
