Showcasing how Hexagon makes aerospace smarter at Dubai Airshow 2019

The aerospace industry is in the midst of a period of great change.

Competition is growing around the world. Technology is advancing and there are increasing levels of demand for new aircraft. It’s never been more important for OEMs and suppliers to reduce production cycle times, increase quality, and drive productivity.

To tackle these challenges, the aerospace industry needs to undergo a digital transformation.

At the Dubai Airshow 2019, one of the largest aviation exhibitions in the world, Hexagon will showcase how we close the loop between the virtual and the real to enhance aerospace manufacturing processes.

From 17-21 November, we will demonstrate the high speed, large volume capability of the Leica Absolute Tracker AT960, which will perform fast, live inspections of an aerostructure part. We will also showcase how these 6DoF measurement capabilities can be achieved in the light, hand-held Leica Absolute Scanner LAS and Leica T-Probe.

We will also be showing the efficiency and flexibility that can be achieved with the Absolute Arm 7-Axis. This tool can be combined with the RS6 Laser Scanner for high-speed 3D digitisation.

Over 79 000 trade visitors from 63 countries and 1200 exhibitors attended the previous Dubai Airshow. We’re excited to be at this highly significant exhibition and taking part in the important conversations around the industry today. Perhaps we will see you there at booth 1940 of the Dubai Airshow Site.
